A veteran homeschool mom of 20+ years, Erika just celebrated sending her youngest off to University last year. With a gift for encouragement and a deep understanding of the unique struggles women face (you pick up a few things when you raise a household of women!), Erika is excited to speak life & truth into other homeschooling moms, in their calling to raise up godly children.
Erika and her husband, Russell, are the parents of four adult daughters and live in Dallas, Oregon. Erika now works for a nonprofit ministry equipping pastors for ministry in rural America and is enjoying her new role as grandma to two grandsons.

Choosing Joy – Identifying Joy Killers and Finding Our Identity in Christ
Session Summary: So often Satan tries to sabotage our effectiveness for the kingdom by placing boulders in our path, stealing our God-given joy. In this session Erika, will speak truth and encouragement as she identifies how to choose joy along the journey, while avoiding some of the major joy-killing sinkholes of our current culture. Homeschool moms will be empowered in their callings as wives, moms, and educators as they are pointed to their true identity in Christ.
