Ron and Aletha Knopp have been home educators for 19 of the 31 years theyve been married. Ron works behind the scenes at KATU-TV. Aletha has been a full time, stay-at-home mom since their oldest son (now married) was six. Their second daughter helped pioneer a new college in Michigan designed by and for home educators and was in the first graduating class. A daughter and four sons, ages 9 to 18 are still at home. None of their children have ever been in traditional schools except as teachers!
